Hi,

so I tried it but got:

ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'tensorflow.python.keras.preprocessing'

Do you have an example of exact versions that match? I also tried replacing >= with == in requirements.txt but this yields other errors...

I guess you had some specific versions that worked. Would be nice to learn which exactly.

@rickdoq sorry but to be honest, this does not sound trustworthy enough for me, some independent upload site and a rar archive, why? This can be done with a github fork, a change request, or just a git patch...

Ok, I checked more and I think my problem is I have Apple silicon. Tensorflow1 is just not supported for it, so I would need to go with 2, but they introduced breaking changes and some functions are not available anymore.

So yeah, I cannot use this repo

Thank you for your interest in this project and bringing up the issue. Unfortunately, I am not planning to actively maintain this repository anymore, which includes not integrating support for Apple Silicon. However, it shouldn't be too difficult to update the code to be compatible with TensorFlow 2.x if you're willing to put in the effort.

Cheers,
Fabian

Thanks for your answer! And yeah, given the date of the repo, I figured you'd probably not maintain it :) All good. I think, the effort is a bit too high as many things seem to have changed, e.g. functions like convert_variables_to_constants were completely redone needs quite some insight into tensorflow that I currently don't have... but maybe I'll have more time in the future. Thanks anyways!

@FabianGroeger96 I cannot but if you as repo owner can, I'd recommend report/ban that virus bot
