Collections checkbox on new Search Type creation doesn't work

Describe the bug
When creating a new search type, there is a checkbox to allow the sobject to support collections. When this is checked and a new search type is created, it produces an error for a missing search type

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Create Search Type
2. Select supports collections
3. Create Sobject
4. Try to create collections

Expected behavior
The current behavior produces a stack trace because it is missing the connector stype. These should be created so that collections work smoothly.
