Crossplatform ETA

Hello, hope this is the right category for this question.

I've seen some comments in some Issues about the plan to make this cross platform, but it's been since time since that.
I'm currently working something that needs a video player where libVLC or libMPV aren't really suitable and this checks all the boxes.
Is there already some branch for v4 or any way to get involved for it? If not is there any kind of time frame when v4 will be worked on/will be done?

I've changed the design/plans for v4 because a number of issues came up. For example:

• FFmpeg.Autogen had a lot of issues with cross platform and missing macros. So I had to review and code a new bindings (Flyleaf.FFmpeg.Generator) focusing on Flyleaf's logic

• Research and implementing almost the full FFmpeg's API (Flyleaf.FFmpeg) -cross platform (for hardware decoding/encoding API)- was also time consuming (samples already implemented for that)

Currently I'm designing the Threading/Workflow logic implementation (for Demuxing/Decoding/Filtering/Playback-Rendering/Encoding/Muxing) and mix Flyleaf's filters with FFmpeg's filters.

Last step will be Renderers/AudioPlayers (UI - OS specific etc.).

I know it's been long time but it requires time to ensure the design is right (before having even a branch so you will be able to contribute) and unfortunately not much free time this period. I will try to have something so you can contribute at least as soon as I can.

thank for the quick response! No worries, I saw your work on Flyleaf.FFmpeg and its really impressive! When I was trying to do this on my own I realized the FFmpeg lib I used doesnt have a lot of the hardware decoding/encoding stuff (Sdcb.FFmpeg), so I was glad I found yours.
I've mostly worked on small audio things for now so I might as well use the time to read into how to set up renderers as thats something I struggled most with on my own experiments (the other FFmpeg based players for Avalonia I've seen so far either needed weird library versions or had horrendours memory leaks and all were software only and then just wrote to a WriteableBitmap).
