SMTP settings in roundcube identities ignored

Hello,

I want to use a different smtp server than the imap server. So as it's not possible to do that in mail servers settings (because there is no password field, so the same password is applied to the imap and the smtp server), I tried to change it in Roundcube, in the smtp setting section of identities.

But the setting is totally ignored. It's as if I didn't do anything.

Is there a way to configure a different smtp server for the email addresses in Yetiforce ?

you can create a second mail server with a different smtp configuration.
create a second mail account, which will be the same, only a different mail server is specified.
This is a workaround for now..

In one of the next releases we will include SMTP configuration from the RoundCube email client.

Thank you for your answer. It would be very useful, yes, because sometimes you can use a specialised optimized server for sending emails.
