Installation Instructions:
-> Install python development packages
1 - sudo apt-get install python-dev
-> Install pyhton PIP
2 - sudo apt-get install python-pip
-> Install packages needed for libre-fdatool
(http://www.ohwr.org/projects/libre-fdatool)
3 - sudo pip install numpy
-> Prior to isntalling scipy, we need to be sure that BLAS,
ATLAS and LAPCK are corrected installed.
4 - sudo apt-get install libblas-dev liblapck-dev libatlas-base-dev
-> Now we should be able to install the remaining python packages
5 - sudo pip install scipy
7 - sudo pip install matplotlib
-> If the ft2build.h could not be found install the following:
8 - sudo apt-get install libfreetype6-dev
-> If the png.h could not be found install the following:
9 - sudo apt-get install libpng12-dev:w
-> Install myhdl package
-> wget http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/myhdl/myhdl/0.7/myhdl-0.7.tar.gz?r=http%3A%2F%2Fsourceforge.net%2Fprojects%2Fmyhdl%2Ffiles%2F&ts=1363808420&use_mirror=ufpr
10 - tar xvf myhdl-0.7.tar.gz
11 - cd myhdl-0.7
12 - python setup.py install
-> Test if all went correctly
13 - cd myhdl/test/core
14 - python test_all.py
-> To install co-simulation support
15 - Go to the directory co-simulation/<platform> for your target
platform and following the instructions in the README.txt file.
