Hi Miyako;

This is on 10.13.6.
Purge 2.0.14
4D v17.3 64 bits

Open the purge demo db. Run "Method 1", app displays a dialog to install helper tool. I type in the password.

If i run the method again, the password is required again (like if the helper tool was not installed).

Did I miss something ?

Thanks

did you download the plugin from releases? (dmg file)

you should not use the plugin inside the sample db, because it is not signed or notarised.

Yes I did use the plugin from the sample db.

Could you send me the link to the dmg signed plugin ? Thanks

but you should not need this plugin anymore.
in fact, it will crash 4D Server when you restart.

Sorry, I completely missed the "release" tab on github, I was always using "cloner or download" and used the demo db to find your plugins

I tried again with the "release" version of the plugin and it still not working. Having said that your comment maked me a bit worried. Maybe I will stick with cron to do a purge...

PS : i misreported the OS. It is in fact OS X 10.13.6.
