YouTube delivers good pop, but SoundCloud is big in the indie/electronic scene, DailyGrooves should support it.

UI: probably keep defaulting to YouTube, but show a big YouTube/SoundCloud choice (tab / radio), which would switch the player to a SoundCloud one.
Backend: scrape SC embeds, and create playlists with the SC API

Would be nice, given the ton of emerging artists posting first on Bandcamp (indie scene) and Soundcloud (electronic)...

Google says players encapsulating this might do the job, like https://github.com/nicholasbien/music-player
