I'm on nixos where tuxedo control center isn't supported because it uses an ancient and insecure version of electron (#148). The alternative is https://github.com/AaronErhardt/tuxedo-rs , however power profile do not work on the Aura Gen 1 laptop (AaronErhardt/tuxedo-rs#56) (maybe others are affected too). So, I'm trying to understand what is actually supposed to happen when switching power profiles.

I assumed it would switch CPU governors (performance, powersave, schedutil), but that simply doesn't happen and now my laptop only lasts about 4h instead of 8-10 even without a desktop environment.

Can somebody shed light on the expected changes that are supposed to happen?
