Hi there,

I'm getting this error every few seconds in my syslog:

Jan 21 20:05:14 nargacuga tccd[66517]: Can't open display --current
Jan 21 20:05:14 nargacuga tccd[66517]: Failed executing onWork() => Error: Command failed: export XAUTHORITY=/run/user/1000/.mutter-Xwaylandauth.A3TD02 && xrandr -q -display --current
Jan 21 20:05:14 nargacuga tccd[66517]: Can't open display --current

System: TUXEDO InfinityBook Pro 15 - Gen9 - AMD, Ubuntu 24.04.1

What's wrong and how do I stop that?

I use fedora 41 and hyprland, same TUXEDO InfinityBook Pro 15 - Gen9 - AMD

Plus after a few hours, my system becomes too laggy (unusable) and i have to reboot

My system also becomes laggy and unusuable after a time, forcing me to reboot.
Happens both on X11 and Wayland, too.

i've made that command and i d'ont see the error anymore (for 2 hours) :
export XAUTHORITY=/home/vitidn/.Xauthority

i cannot reproduce that now, i just rebooted (the export is no more effective)
maybe just running that command once after a broken update reset a config file somewhere and fixes the problem

Hello,

My system also becomes laggy and unusuable after a time, forcing me to reboot.
Happens both on X11 and Wayland, too.

Is the error from the title related to the "laggy and unusable" system issue? That is, does it not become laggy after some time if TCC is not on the system?

It is related to this issue. I haven't tried out using the system without TCC for a longer time yet.
