The exploration and development of an eligibility rules service is being pursued in stages, receiving initial funding through TTS's 10X incubator program. The artifacts below are intended to provide visibility into our work for potential collaborators.

Phase 4: Scale

August 2019 to Present

In Phase 4, we'll take what we learned from previous phases to several new discovery partners. Our aim is to further validate that across a wide variety of federal eligibility programs, eligibility can be codified in a human-and-machine-readable web service that state or local implementers can hook into and act on. We're currently in conversations with potential partners for this phase; you can read more about partnering with us here or just contact us directly.

Phase 3: Refine

October 2018 to June 2019

Phase 2: Research

December 2017 to April 2018

Phase 1: Focus

June to July 2017

The primary question that needed to be answered as part of the initial investigation phase was whether there was a role for TTS to play in the eligibility space, and if so, what opportunities should we pursue. This phase of work led to the focus on an eligibility rules service. In July 2017, the team concluded the investigation sprint. We pitched our conclusions to the review board and received funding for a subsequent phase.
