There are a couple of related issues about documenting problems with network configuration. #242, #288, and #295. I've added some information to the readme and troubleshooting guide about avoiding/resolving these network issues.

Seeing as there is quite some content added, should we perhaps introduce a separate file to discuss these network related issues / network setup?

The readme is already quite long, and we should perhaps not add more to it. Same for the troubleshooting document. Longer remedy sections don't always make things clearer.
