ERA5 Reanalysis

IMDAA Reanalysis

IMDAA 1-Hourly Single Level Dataset, 1979-2023, whole area, as NetCDF, for these variables:

  • apcp: Total Precipitation
  • gust: 10m Wind Speed (Gust)
  • prmsl: Mean Sea Level Pressure
  • ugrd: 10m U-Component of Wind
  • vgrd: 10m V-Component of Wind

Other variables are available after registration from:

https://rds.ncmrwf.gov.in/datasets

The National Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasting (NCMRWF), India - Reanalysis Data Service (RDS) portal contains (1) IMDAA Data - high resolution (12km, 1-hourly) regional reanalysis over India, from 1979 to 2018 and (2) NGFS Data - high resolution (25km, 6-hourly) Global reanalysis (1999 to 2018).

National Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecast (NCMRWF), Ministry of Earth Science, Government of India is the data producer (NCMRWF Data producer). Any user desiring to use the NCMRWF Data Products (NCMRWF Data user) should agree to and abide by the terms and conditions mentioned in this document.
