The card sorting method is a valuable and widely used technique in (UX) and information architecture. First developed by psychologists in the 1980s, card sorting has become an essential tool for
to understand how users organize and categorize information. This technique offers a systematic approach to organizing information, identifying users' thought patterns and improving the structure of websites, applications and information systems.
